Since I had such a positive response after doing my first Autism Awareness fundraiser this August I decided to keep it going. I created a group on Facebook (just like the one I started on the Ravelry website) called "Crafting For A Cause" so that people would be able to check out what I do and how I do it, then if they like they can get involved too! In my Ravelry group we have almost 100 members but not everyone is on Facebook so I figured this is just another positive way to get people interested and involved. Whether its with one of my groups or in their own community I feel it's all for a good cause! I also started a group Pinterest page for the same reasons. Below I'm listing the websites and info so please check them out when you get a chance, the more we play an active roll in our communities the more acceptance and awareness we can raise for all of the millions of children and adults who face the challenges of Autism and Autism Spectrum Disorders!
